Lexington's small businesses are part of what make it so charming. They help give our neighborhoods unique identities by serving as creative hubs, retail anchors + service centers.

For Small Business Week, we asked local business owners to share their love for other small businesses that everyone in town should know about.

Here’s what they said:

"High on Art + Coffee is a great spot in town that has been supporting local artists for years. Tim and Ellie are fantastic community members." — Dudley's on Short

"Black Market + Story boutiques: Melanie has been the anchor for the Woodland Triangle for over 20 years. She specializes in unique clothing, art, and jewelry, focusing on smaller, independently owned lines. Next door, Story, has an array of home decor items, baby gifts, and plants." — Poppy + Pomelo | Wick + Mortar Studio

"Tuk Tuk Snack Shop, Sam is cooking up some special dishes and everyone is always so cheerful." — Wolf + Ryan Salon

"Kentucky Native Cafe because the atmosphere, delicious food, and beautiful nature you can enjoy in downtown Lexington." — Sorella Gelateria
