Justin Schoenfeld | Freestyle Skiing | Lawrenceburg, IN

The 23-year-old is competing for his first Olympic team in freestyle aerials. Back in 2020, he ended a four-year US men’s aerials drought with his first World Cup win in Belarus. He hit a double full-full-full in the super final to beat out world champion Maxim Burov of Russia. Justin has been on the US Ski Team since 2019.

Aerials qualifying is Feb. 15, followed by finals Feb. 16.

Both Nick + Justin grew up skiing at Perfect North Slopes in Lawrenceburg, IN — about two hours southeast of Indianapolis.

Looking to bet on our Hoosier athletes? This year, the state’s gaming commission authorized Indiana casinos + mobile sports wagering operators to offer betting lines on seven Winter Olympic events — alpine skiing, bobsled, cross-country skiing, curling, ice hockey, short-track speed skating, and speed skating. Pro tip: Keep in mind that many Olympic events will have happened well before they make it on air in the US.
