A classy afternoon at Newfields exploring the world of Impressionist art? Sounds like the perfect Mother’s Day plan.

“Monet & Friends Alive” transforms Newfields’ entire fourth floor into 30,000 square feet of immersive galleries, all featuring Monet’s stunning landscape work. The exhibition also includes physical Impressionistic art from the IMA’s permanent collection.

But wait, there's more. Newfields is planning an entire weekend of Mother's Day events, including:

Yoga in THE LUME with Invoke Studio on Sunday, May 14 at 9:30 (advance tickets available)
Mother's Day Brunch at 9 and 10:30 a.m.
Free activities all weekend (think: Mother's Day card making, lawn games, and more)

Pro tip: Exhibition tickets ($29 for adults, $25 for seniors, $20 for kids ages 6-17) include admission to the entire rest of the art museum and its grounds, so plan some extra time to stroll through the galleries and gardens — which are stunning this time of year.

Happy Mother's Day, Indy.*
