Stuck at home for Valentine's Day? Want to have a special meal, but don't want to deal with the inevitable crowds at your favorite restaurants? Or just prefer cozying up to your special someone (or your cat) in your pajamas?

We see you — and raise you these options for celebrating Valentine's Day from the comfort of your own home.

Cozy up with charcuterie | Ordering a board from Smoking Goose will feel just as fancy as going out to dinner — and with local delivery, you won't even have to leave the house. Pro tip: Add some Salamat cookies to your order for a sweet treat.
Plan a movie night | Grab some popcorn from Just Pop In! and watch your favorite rom com. If you're looking for something super local, try "The Duel," which was filmed in Indy a few years ago. It's currently streaming for free on Tubi or for rent on Amazon Prime, Apple TV, or YouTube.
Exchange love letters | Pick up some fancy stationery from Semantics Paper Goods to write a sweet note for your partner, kids, or best friends that you can exchange on the spot or seal for a later date. Or, for an extra romantic touch, get a vintage Valentine from Pen and Pink Vintage.
Make an at-home spa | Self-care is always good for your heart. Bath bombs from Salt and Ash can help to transform your bathroom into a romantic oasis, especially when paired with candles and soaps from some of our favorite local makers.
Plan your next adventure | No need to daydream about your next big trip together when you can actually start planning it. If you like staying stateside, we've gathered top recs from local editors like Shea in our sister cities around the country — including San Diego, Austin, Tampa Bay, and beyond.
Dance it out | Whether you want to slow dance, samba, or show off your steps from the club days of yore, queue up music from artists with ties to Indianapolis.

Have another idea on how you can have a special at-home V-Day the local way? Send us a love letter.
