It seems the Rays are embracing the dream that is Florida living: bringing the outdoors in.

The Rays + design firm Populous just released new renderings of the highly anticipated ballpark. The $1.3 billion facility features large windows wrapping around the building, porches, and as well as doorways and terraces bridging the indoor and outdoor spaces, according to a release.

“Our baseball park will be the most intimate and inviting in the sport,” said Rays President Matt Silverman, in a release. “The park is designed to bring our fans as close to the field as possible, to create a distinctive, compelling game experience.”

The 30,000-seat pavilion-style facility will house premium clubs and suites, decks and social gathering spaces, and flexible viewing areas across three deck levels. Plus, the venue would double as a space for concerts and other major area events.

The incoming stadium is still waiting on final approval from St. Pete City Council.
