Here in Tampa Bay we know that the exterior of the home is almost as important as the inside. Who doesn't want to enjoy our glorious weather?

We've rounded up five homes with backyards so dreamy you'll never want to leave:

96 Martinique Ave., Tampa | $21 million

Built on one of Davis Islands' coveted waterfront parcels, this brand-new home boasts its own rooftop terrace with entertaining space + 360-degree awe-inspiring views of Tampa Bay — no need to head to a rooftop bar. The exterior of the six bed, eight bath home also features a custom pool and spa, fire pit, and outdoor kitchen all looking out on the water.

2785 Bayside Dr. S., St. Petersburg | $5 million

This home comes with a special perk: Your choice of a Bentley Continental Super Sport or Aston Martin Vantage — oh, and a 2006 Checkmate 22-ft speed boat. The waterfront seven bed, seven bath home is a knockout listing, with a solar, heated saltwater pool, deepwater dock, and covered cabana.

3819 Huntington St. NE, St. Petersburg | $515,000

Bring on bonfire season. This St. Pete home boasts a stone fireplace perfect for roasting s'mores come fall — plus a covered lanai with fans + a screened-in porch for relaxing outdoors all summer long. The Venetian Isles home also has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and modern touches aplenty.

2216 S. Exmoor St., Tampa | $4.75 million

This one's for the golfers — or folks who just like golf course views. Perched on a huge lot overlooking Palma Ceia golf course, the nearly 10,000-sqft home boasts six bedrooms and 10 baths. But the real star is the yard, with a resort-esque pool and hot tub, covered porch with a fireplace, and a swoon-worthy outdoor kitchen.

136 21st Ave. NE, St. Petersburg | $1.35 million

Your slice of the Historic Old Northeast awaits. This 1937 Tudor home's backyard is built for maximizing outside time with a massive pool with a sun shelf, hot tub, outdoor kitchen, built-in fire pit, and multiple levels for entertaining. The beautifully redone house also features three bedrooms and baths, a fireplace, and — our favorite — a spiral staircase.
