MustDo Monday: May 6-12, 2019

Hey Lakeland, Kaylee here. This past weekend was jam-packed with music (with the Imperial Symphony Orchestra playing music from West Side Story + a Bob Dylan Tribute at the RP Funding Center) and all sorts of Cinco de Mayo events.

Some of you are prepping for Mother’s day – and some are probably wrapping up the school year at Polk State College, Florida Polytechnic University, Florida Southern College, or Southeastern University – either way, it’s a busy time of year for everyone.

Here at LALtoday, we also have summer on our mind and we want to hear from you. Email us via the question box below and let us know what you’d like us to cover this upcoming season. ☀️

In the meantime, here are some events to bookmark this week. ⬇️

Food Truck Rally | Thurs., May 9 | 6-9 p.m. | Munn Park Historic District | With 20 food trucks, which is your go-to?

Beethoven V. Coldplay | May 9 | 7:30-9 p.m. | The Polk Theatre | $50 | Memorable performance weaves the melodies and lyrics of Coldplay into the original Beethoven, pairing them together based on content and context. 🎶 Ⓟ

---> Plan your week here.
