Calling all baseball fans: The Detroit Tigers are kicking off Spring Training in Polk County with their 75th annual Tiger BBQ, presented by Rodda Construction.

The decades-long tradition will be held on Wed., Feb. 23 at Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium (2301 Lakeland Hills Blvd.) from 6-8 p.m.

Pro tip: Snag tickets for spring training games while you’re there.

Grab a group of friends or bring the kids along to enjoy an exceptional menu. Hint: You’ll find everything from pulled pork, ribs + chicken to all of your favorite “fixins” like potato salad, coleslaw and more.

Tickets are now available for $40 for adults + $20 for children 12 and under.

Bonus: Your ticket comes with a 2022 glass souvenir mug to take home. 🍻

This year, the barbecue will honor Tigers Hall of Famer, “Mr. Tiger” Al Kaline, who passed away on April 6, 2020 on a commemorative souvenir mug | Photo provided by Visit Central Florida
