What's bubbling up in the beverage scene this year? Here's where to get a local taste of the six drink trends Better Homes & Gardens expects to see in 2025.

Blast from the past

Just like with homes, nostalgic cocktails like cosmopolitans + grasshoppers are coming back in a big way. Try the Julep Evolution at Vasco61 to be transported to your first mint julep.

Soda surge

Prepare for the rise of dirty sodas loaded with cream, syrup, and fruit. Mobile soda stand Fizzy Fix recently opened in Lakeland, delivering the sweet concoctions right to your doorstep.

Miso isn't just for soup

Expect to see this flavor popping up everywhere from coffee to cocktails, like in Revival's Miso-Maple Old Fashioned made with toasted almond + vanilla bitters.

All about the experience

What's more immersive than stepping through a Coke machine into a hidden speakeasy? Enter the password to enjoy a cocktail at La Gran Muralla — we recommend the sweet + sour Puffer Fish topped with liquid nitrogen.

This tea is sparkling

Don't you let it go. Sparkling teas may become a more popular alternative to cocktails and sodas. Test out the trend with a fruity "mojito" at Tsaocaa Tea.

Aren't you glad we said banana?

If so, try out this ap-peel-ing flavor in a coffee. We love the Banana Bread Latte at Andrew's Coffee, but there are bunches of options on the shop's fully customizable menu.
