Good morning, LAL. Abby, here. Raise your hand if you could use a little inspiration today. ✋

Many of you are still getting to know me as the newest editor for the team, so I’ll start by sharing a huge passion of mine – photography. And in the midst of our current global state, it’s easy to lose sight of the beauty that still exists around us.

Through this gallery of photos around Lakeland, provided by + tagged #LALtoday by our readers, I hope to inspire you to continue to appreciate the charm of the city we’re fortunate to call home. Whether you’re fully quarantined or practicing social distancing to your best ability, allow these images to be your invitation to open the curtains, water your plants + nourish the environment around you, along with yourself.

Be sure to continue tagging #LALtoday on social platforms to be featured. We love seeing Swan City through the lenses of fellow Lakelanders.
