Between serving their communities and making their voices heard, today's teens aren't playing around about their futures. One McKeel Academy of Technology student is going a step further to make it easier for her peers.

When Diora Franqui-Marchand saw that tracking down community service opportunities was a struggle for many students, she created Astraea. This online hub puts relevant resources all in one place, spanning everything from mental health and crisis help to career building and scholarships. There's also a collection of teen-friendly spaces.

"My goal for Astraea is to create a platform for youth voices and make resources more accessible for teenagers," said Franqui-Marchand, who named the hub after the Greek goddess of justice. She's just a sophomore now, but she plans to pursue a career in law after graduation.
