If you have to go, you might as well do it in style. Cintas’ annual America’s Best Restroom contest is back. Cast your vote for the best bathroom in the country by Friday, Aug. 11. But who will take the porcelain throne?
Let’s take a look at a few of the finalists... and some of this year’s biggest snubs from Chattanooga to Seattle.
The contenders
Rabbit Hole in Greenville, SC
You’ll feel like you’ve landed in Wonderland at Rabbit Hole. It’s really the floor-to-ceiling decorations that do it for us. Plus, the cozy lighting + live edge driftwood sink. It’s totally worth following the white rabbit to get here.
Drusie & Darr in Nashville Tennessee
We’ve got three words for you — pink, pink, pink. We’re talking pink marble, rose gold mirrors... it’s enough to make you blush.
El Rio in San Francisco, California
Dive bars aren’t usually known for their deluxe bathrooms, but El Rio is far from ordinary. This inclusive spot has two bathrooms — one a two-stall and the other ADA-accessible. Both are amazing.

The snubs
The Chattanooga Choo Choo in Chattanooga, Tennessee
Maybe it was snubbed for its Nashville competitor, but the historic Choo Choo hotel has an unmissable bathroom. Afterall, how many restrooms are lit by grand chandeliers? Check out more of Chattanooga’s captivating commodes.
The Apiary in Lexington, Kentucky
Kentucky has never had a winner for Cintas’ Best Restroom — and that’s a real shame. Lexington has no shortage of beautiful bathrooms. This venue’s bathroom is iconic for its serene lighting and unique wallpaper. Be sure to take a selfie in the distressed mirror.
Life on Mars in Seattle, Washington
Seattle is stocked with stylish restrooms. At Life on Mars, there are two. Choose between the Seattle Sonic-themed bathroom or boogie down in the disco-themed one.
