This is a special year for the Winchester Mystery House, as 2023 marks 100 years since its doors opened to the public.

The city will soon pay tribute to the iconic house that has driven more than 12 million guests to the must-see attraction in the great 408.

The anniversary festivities will kick off on Friday, June 30, and include:

A proclamation of Winchester Mystery House Day from city officials
The entombment of a time capsule containing current souvenirs + memorabilia
Live Roaring '20s music from Symphony San Jose
A new exhibit about the mansion's influence on pop culture

Additionally, magician Aiden Sinclair will host two interactive shows on Friday, June 30 and Saturday, July 1, and a Centennial Brunch will be held on Sunday, July 2, at the greenhouse patio.

Before your visit, brush up on your knowledge of Sarah Winchester's life, and her obsession with the number 13.
