Want to #BuyGreen in a different way? Today's date reads April 20, but to cannabis consumers, 4/20 is a holiday with proud Bay Area roots.

If you’re celebrating the holiday (or even if you’re just curious) here are five dope dispensaries in San Jose you can get your goods from.

Pro dispensary tips for newbies:

Bring cash and a valid ID to verify you're over 21.
If you're intimidated, the trusty cannabis connoisseurs, or budtenders, will be happy to educate you.
Check individual websites or Weedmaps if you’d like to order ahead for pick-up.
