Sacramento loves Halloween — and that isn't us just being overconfident + anecdotal. A recent study from WalletHub ranked the City of Trees No. 18 on its list of Best Places for Halloween. Let's break down why:

Sacramento came in No. 1 — you read that right — for Halloween weather. The study measured the average forecasted Halloween temperature vs. the average normal temperature, and also took into account the likelihood of rain.
The River City ranked No. 18 for Halloween fun — considering attractions like the number of haunted houses, costume shops, pumpkin patches, Halloween parties, and candy stores per capita.
The Farm-to-Fork Capital took the No. 48 spot for trick-or-treater-friendliness, which covers stuff like walkability, population density, and potential number of trick-or-treaters + trick-or-treat stops.
