Five businesses have been identified as this year's finalists for the Downtown Sacramento Partnership's Calling All Dreamers contest. The business incubation program provides mentorship for local entrepreneurs, with a chance of winning a start-up package that includes a storefront location in Downtown.

This year's finalists are:

The Dreamland Cinema

This micro-cinema (1901 P St.) brings independent + arthouse films to Midtown in an intimate setting — and they hope to relocate to a larger space soon. We actually spoke to owners Tish and Lauren shortly after they opened in June 2022.

Capital Tuk Tuk

Catch an eco-friendly, three-wheeled lift from this tour company (3810 Broadway, Ste. 219), which offers both custom and pre-curated tours, like its tour of Sac murals.

Ecojoyous

This brand uses locally sourced natural + organic ingredients to hand-make its up-cycled goods, which range from soaps and makeup to cutlery and pillows.

Planted Foods

We'd tell you that you have to try this company's plant-based eats to believe how good they are — but they're so good, they're currently sold out. The brand is hoping to be selected as this year's winner, which would help make its desired Downtown cafe a reality.

Nouvelle Healing

Reiki sessions, guided meditations, sound baths, and more are all part of this company's (1909 Capitol Ave., Ste. 302) holistic approach to wellness.
