A short, 1-3 sentence blurb that’s designed to promote news, events, jobs, real estate, and offers.


What comes with a Text Ad and where does this live within the product?

Text Ads are short blurbs about your brand that are included under either the Events section or News Notes section of our newsletter that drive traffic directly to your website.

They consist of:

  • Events (upcoming events- virtual or in person)
  • Real Estate (homes for sale, rental properties, commercial properties, land)
  • Jobs (open jobs)
  • Deal Of The Day (coupons, discounts, special rates)
  • News Notes (newsworthy/interesting snippets about your organization including announcements, blog posts, social content, recent rankings, awards or news coverage about your organization; fun facts, etc.)

What comes with a Text Ad:

  • Placed in the Events section or the News Note section
  • 50-word max
  • 1-2 links
    • 1 link in Events
    • 1-2 links in News Notes

What is the typical timeline and process for Text Ads?

    Depending on the number of Text Ads within your contract and the control you are hoping to have, we provide you with two options when it comes to fulfillment:

    Your team submits the information via online form

    • Designated for contracts with less than 12 text ads or for those clients that need control over links, messaging and inclusion dates.
    • A hands on approach for your team
    • A member of your team will submit information through our online form.
    • To ensure our team has time to produce our best work, we recommend submitting assets at least 2-3 business days in advance. Submission cut off is 12pm of the publication’s local time zone.
      • Example: If you submit a form on Monday at 12:30pm, the earliest date your Text Ad will run is Thursday of that week.
    • If a quicker turnaround is needed, we are happy to accommodate if possible. Include your run date request when submitting the information and we will reach out with potential options and next steps.

    The Branded Content Studio will curate your Text Ads

    • Only available for contracts with 12+ text ads
    • A hands off approach for your team
    • We source, write and schedule content to run in our newsletter based on your provided resources (Social Media, Website, Blog, Press Releases, etc.).
    • Your team can still submit information via the online form if there is something you want to make sure we cover.
    • Timeline: We space these out based on the length of your contract and the timeliness of the information.

    What does the review process look like?

      Due to the shorter length and because you are providing us with exactly what you want us to cover, Text Ads do not come with any review prior to publishing.

      Why is the process of submitting an event different from the other Text Ads?

      We have invested in working with an external Events Calendar, CitySpark, that allows us to have one of the most robust calendars in the industry.

      If you do not have a CitySpark account yet, CitySpark will prompt you to create one. While an account with CitySpark is required to submit your events to 6AM City, it’s easy to use, and you’ll use your same login information for the entirety of your partnership with us.

      Note: When inputting your event, CitySpark may generate a yellow bar indicating that this event is already in the system. You can click on that pre-existing event to make changes directly. If you’d prefer to submit new information for the event and have us delete the previous, please make sure to reach out to with a link to the event you’d like us to delete.
